More than 70 percent of respondents to a DPme.com poll have confirmed they will attend this year’s CABSAT convention, which kicks off in Dubai tomorrow.

A further 11.8 percent were undecided on their attendance plans with only 17.6 percent of the website’s local and international audience intent on steering clear of the event.

“We are upbeat and positive about the numbers we are expecting at this year’s show. In the current economic climate it is even more important for delegates to come to these events,” said David Lim, group industry manager, media and finance events, Dubai World Trade Centre.

“This is a critical time for buyers, suppliers, manufacturers and distributors to meet and discuss strategies, marketing plans, distribution agreements and other important issues to formulate long term strategies on business continuity.”

The poll of 1183 media and broadcast professionals was carried on DigitalProductionme.com during the month of February.
