Dubai-based IT distributor Pro Technology has returned to this year’s CABSAT exhibition armed with a host of new product releases from its vendor partners, including Apple, Nexsan and Trapeze.

The company is showcasing the latest Final Cut video editing software from Apple, Nexsan's new high density storage systems with backup devices and tape libraries from QUALSTAR, and Netronics' flat surface antenna for high speed wireless communication.

Representatives of UK-based partner ENPS are also demonstrating the latest version of the company’s News System application.

Pro Technology MD Jamal Maraqa said the company was achieving considerable success catering to the broadcast production sector.

As a result, the company had committed to establishing its largest presence to date at this year’s installment of CABSAT.

“The numerous ventures, which came as a result of our participation in CABSAT 2008, prompted us to establish a bigger presence in this year's edition of the show,” he said.

“We are confident of securing further deals at this year’s event.”
