OnAir Medya sees solid demand

The firm's low-power transmitters see surge in sales

OnAir Medya Ltd, a Turkish company operating in FM radio broadcasting sector, is seeing a surge in demand for low power transmission equipment.

The company, which designs and manufactures FM and TV broadcasting equipment, reveals that its FM transmitter model 1KW FTC1K has emerged as its best-selling product so far this year.

The company sold twice the amount of 1KW FTC1K units in the Asian and African broadcasting market this year compared to last year, according to Lutfi Aysan, GM, OnAir Medya. The company supplied most of these units to radio stations who upgraded their transmitters to increase their coverage.

OnAir’s 1KW FTC1K FM transmitter is designed to provide more reliable FM transmitters using the extremely rugged LDMOS power transistors for the FM broadcast market.

The main features of 1KW FTC1K FM transmitter is higher efficiency and reliability compared to more standard designs.
