Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) has chosen Sony Professional Solutions MEA to deliver two fully-equipped 3G outside broadcasting (OB) vans for its network.
The deployment, scheduled for delivery by August 2017, will complement Qatar Media Corporation’s current portfolio of three OB vans currently in use.
The new additions, equipped with Sony HDC series cameras, 3G switcher will enable QMC to seamlessly broadcast footage from any shoot location.
With a ruggedized 4X4 chassis and compact footprint, the vans can be deployed quickly in restricted spaces and offers outdoor terrain mobility. The air-conditioning and the coach will be specially designed to operate in harsh environments and at very high temperatures. In addition, a more advanced mounted satellite news gathering system (DSNG), QMC will now be able to be able to cover events and broadcast live from hard to reach areas.
