The joint initiative will see the creation of intra-company collaboration zones in the GCC, which will be governed by du Broadcast Services.
David Nortier, managing director of Signiant Europe, said security of digital content would be the primary objective of the project
“The nature of the industry is such that broadcast media must be sent securely and reliably, as content owners have high standards for protection of media when it is in transit and it is important that it cannot be illegally used or exploited,” he commented.
“This is where du comes in and we look forward to working with the company closely."
Signiant claimed its media delivery product can assist companies by “managing, accelerating and automating the movement of content securely over networks.”
It boasts the BBC, NBC and Swedish Broadcast Services among its collection of broadcast industry customers.
Signiant will be showcasing its content distribution management software at the NAB show in Las Vegas from April 18-23.
The company’s exhibition, will aim to demonstrate the access customers receive to a large network of broadcasters, media companies and content creators, and its ease of integration with other technology.
Thomson Nexguard, Avid, Smartjog, Anystream, and Apple Final Cut Pro are all integration partners of Signiant.
