du has partnered with OSN to broadcast what's being dubbed as “the most anticipated fight of the year”: Mayweather vs McGregor, on a dedicated channel that will be available to all du TV subscribers. The fight will take place on Sunday August 27 from 6 am to 9 am UAE time, and du customers will be able to watch the fight on channel 535.

Fahad Al Hassawi, chief commercial officer, du said: “At du, we promise to keep our customers entertained and connected to their favourite social platforms and TV channels. We would like to thank our customers for being valued du TV subscribers and invite them to enjoy the boxing match that everyone is talking about. It certainly is 'The most anticipated fight of the year' and our customers will be able to enjoy watching it from the comfort of their homes with du TV. Happiness is always at the top of our agenda and we strive to provide solutions and experiences for our customers, employees and the general public that will bring a smile to their face.” 

The dedicated du TV channel on OSN – 535 will launch on Thursday, August 24 ahead of the fight. du customers will also be able to record the fight, which will only be temporarily playable as the channel will be removed on August 29.
