MyContent, a content show that takes place at Dubai World Trade Centre on October 29-30, is set to attract content sellers from some 20 countries.
The show’s organiser, Vlad Borovina, project manager at Index Conferences and Exhibitions, said he is optimistic that the event will show a strong improvement on the 2016 edition. “We are delighted to achieve a strong improvement in this prestigious event this year, not only in the number of delegates registered, but also in the strategic partnerships we have managed to forge,” he told Digital Studio.
“The eighth edition of MyContent will witness more regions being targeted and will welcome companies from Eastern Europe and Central Asia. With such a plethora of content and TV executives under one roof along with the top-notch speakers, the coming edition of MyContent 2017 will be the best one so far,” Borovina said.
“From giant groups like MBC or Rotana to small production companies, I believe there is room for everyone, and also for growth. This is also with the strong help of local institutions like twofour54, Dubai Media City, Dubai Studio City, Abu Dhabi Media or Shams who tempt to group everyone under their umbrella in a more organised, easily accessible and efficient manner,” he added.
Apart from the traditional buying and selling aspect of the event, the show’s organiser will also run a parallel conference program and individual screening sessions. “With our line-up of speakers, we believe the conference will be the centre of attraction this year. From in-flight entertainment, e-sports, animation, content development to success stories, we want to bring a stronger and better program in 2017. And since the conference room will be inside the venue, everyone is welcome to attend our program,” Borovina said.
