Prolyte has handed over its UAE distributorship to Dubai-based firm, Nuemann & Mueller (N&M), in a move that will see the company withdraw its presence from the Middle East.

Although Prolyte is still participating at this week's PALME exhibition in Dubai, N&M will take over the sale and operation of the company’s full range of trussing, staging and Prolyft hoist products.

Across the Middle East as a whole, Prolyte will maintain a token presence in the form of Henry Schuil, Prolyte’s regional sales manager. Customers located in countries outside the UAE will be catered to by the company’s head office in the Netherlands.

Jens Giessler, spokesperson for N&M, said the company was enthusiastic about taking control of Prolyte’s sales and distribution in the UAE.

“Prolyte not only has an extensive product line, but their focus on high quality products combined with excellent support and technical know-how is exactly what we like to offer our customers,” he explained.

Both Prolyte and N&M staff are on hand to discuss the changes with customers at PALME, Giessler confirmed.
