Doremi Cinema will equip a total of 130 individual cinema screens with digital servers, the company has announced.

Cineville will deploy Doremi’s DCP-2000 digital cinema server as part of its transition from analogue at five multiplexes – totalling 30 screens – over the course of the summer.

The company will also deploy the DCP-2000 server for the Cap Cinéma chain as part of a project to digitise its network of cinemas in partnership with Barco, Cinemeccanica and Ymagis.

Cap Cinéma will convert more than 100 screens to digital with the first phase of the project scheduled for completion in September 2009.

Doremi Cinema has equipped more than 7000 screens worldwide and 1300 in Europe.
