Dubai-based systems integrator Oasis Enterprises recently completed Syria’s first studio LED installation for Syrian TV’s new news centre, which was designed and built in cooperation with Dubai Media Inc.

“This was a 100% LED installation and it’s thought to be the first for a professional studio in the country,” claimed Karim Abdel Massih, lighting system manager, Professional Project Division, Oasis Enterprises.

“Usually, in such installations, people choose a mix of LED, halogen and fluorescent lights. However, LED is the future and all the lighting systems at the new studio are driven by wireless DMX,” he added.

Massih adds that Oasis worked closely with the set designers at the beginning of the project to ensure that the lighting could be accurately incorporated into the sets.
