The preliminary calendar of events planned for the 127th AES Convention in New York in October has been released online.
The calendar includes a timetable of conference programs, presenter and panel member information, and drop-down abstracts describing each paper, workshop and special event scheduled for the four-day event.
“While there will be additional fine tuning and some last minute shifts in time, location and participant information, visitors to [AES] may be confident that the bulk of this schedule is written in stone,” said convention chair Agnieszka Roginska.
“In keeping with the AES mandate to remain indispensible to next-generation attendees, a special effort has been made to address the rapidly expanding game production community,” said AES executive director Roger Furness.
“Engineers, producers, sound and music creatives currently employed or planning to enter this field will find a comprehensive conference program designed to cover a major portion of the game production lexicon.”
