Jordanian firm expands streaming, DTV in ME region

Jordan-based Ultra Business for IT and Communications (UBITC) has expanded its IP streaming and digital television services in the Middle East with support from Adtec Digital.

Several UBITC clients including Nourmina TV, Comedy TV, Petra TV, Saudi TV, Comedy TV , JOSAT TV , Orient TV , WTV , the General Security Decorate and Jordanian Germany University in Amman presently have Adtec Digital encoders and decoders deployed at their facilities.

Besides streaming, UBITC also uses Adtec products to supports its digital video compression, distribution, and playout services for broadcast.

Jumana Sharbin, director of Operations for UBITC, stated that it preferred Adtec because the manufacturer offered products that “helped create the solutions our clients seek to achieve”.

“We look forward to continuing our partnership with Adtec as we represent them in Jordan and Bahrain. We are happy with the products and so are our clients, in addition to the service and support we are receiving," Bashar Zaatreh, technical manager, UBITC added.
