Twofour54’s tadreeb training academy has staged its first regional media industry skills training course in Oman, at Muscat Press Agency’s headquarters in Muscat.

The ‘Writing and Editing for Web’ training programme was specifically designed for Muscat Press Agency and was staged in conjunction with twofour54 partner, the Thomson Foundation.

Over the two week course, 30 journalists from Muscat Press Agency were trained in Arabic web writing skills, with a view to strengthening the agency’s growing online news offering.

Muscat Press Agency currently produces content for six daily and weekly publications, much of which is repurposed for the web.

Twofour54 tadreeb offers more than 200 bilingual media training courses covering disciplines including broadcast technology, journalism, digital media, and radio production.

The academy plans to launch animation, multimedia design and games development courses in the near future.
