Digital Studio joins hands with Digital Broadcast and DPME.com to bring you the Digital Studio 2010 awards.
Digital Studio always likes to begin the festive season with good news for its readers and the Middle East’s production and broadcast industry. We are happy to announce that the sixth annual Digital Studio awards will be held on March 3 in Dubai.
Every industry professional qualifies to participate so I urge each one of you to visit www.digitalproductionme.com/dsawards and nominate companies or individuals you think deserve to win.
There are 14 categories that recognise contributions in the production or broadcast sectors.
In the past, several award winners have shared how the Digital Studio Industry Leadership Awards have raised their profile in the regional marketplace. These awards were designed to acknowledge innovative contributions from both big and small players. We’re looking for quality nominations. Submissions that do not meet the requirements stipulated in the online nomination form will be disqualified.
Digital Studio reiterates that it will go by the quality of nominations to select a winner rather than the quantity. Submitting the same nomination several times will not increase your chances of winning.
Nominations for best productions, animations etc must be accompanied by a showreel on DVD.
This year, we have roped in one segment of the industry that we were unable to include in the past as they were outside the periphery of what Digital Studio covers. For 2010, we are happy to announce the launch of a new award titled Best Content Delivery Service Provider in association with sister publication, Digital Broadcast. This award is open to telcos, broadcasters and other companies that are actively involved in developing new media platforms.
In addition, the Short Form Film of the Year category, which is open to any TVC, corporate video, animation or short that is less than 10 minutes long, will be staged in association with this very website. You can send us links to your production on YouTube or MPEG 4 formatted files. The best clips will be showcased on DPme.com in the weeks prior to the awards ceremony.
Submissions close on January 7 so get your nominations in!
