Dubai-based technology integrator Almoe AV Systems has supplied the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) with a multi-million dirham live sound reinforcement system in conjunction with local pro audio equipment distributor NMK Electronics.

The system will be used in the production of major entertainment and industry events staged by DWTC on the trade centre grounds and within the eight halls of the Dubai International Convention Centre.

The package supplied by Almoe and NMK includes a raft of Electro-Voice equipment such as XLC127 DVX line array cabinets, XSub subwoofers, 12-inch and 15-inch Phoenix stage monitors and Tour Grade amplifiers.

A Midas Heritage 3000 console takes care of front of house mixing duties, while a Midas Siena desk is used for monitoring applications. Other equipment includes a Klark Teknik digital Helix EQ system, analogue compressors and gates.

Technical highlights of the sound reinforcement system include air-cooled loudspeakers and remote power amplifiers with switch mode power supply technology and digital signal processing.
