The deal includes the installation of an Avid Air Speed for ingest, its ISIS production server integrated to an Omneon Playout server and the vendor's Media Composer and NewsCutter non-linear editing systems.

Work on the US $5million project is expected to begin later this year and is scheduled for completion by the first quarter of 2008.

"The systems that we are putting in place with Avid is meant to support SDI & HD-SDI solutions and will make QTV HD-ready. With this project, the broadcaster will have a very advanced HD broadcasting facility."
