Abu Dhabi Media Company (ADMC) has signed an agreement with Etisalat to distribute the English Premier League (EPL) for the next three consecutive seasons starting August 2010.The agreement will allow Etisalat’s E-Vision and eLife customers access to ADMC’s premium EPL sports programming on Abu Dhabi Al Riyadiya channels. More information on availability, packages and pricing will be released in due course.
Ricky Ghai, executive director for Digital Media at ADMC stated that the deal will give “audiences access to an all-encompassing EPL offering across the Middle East”.
“We look forward to further expanding our presence in the IPTV market segment, and delivering Abu Dhabi Al Riyadiya’s high quality sports entertainment to audiences across the region.”
Cable TV operator Etisalat has invested heavily in a state-of-the-art fibre network that has made E-Vision a major IPTV provider in the region and a pioneer in HDTV services. Additionally, Etisalat has also been involved in the ambitious rollout of fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network across the country.

ADMC will make the EPL available across the Middle East and North Africa via several subscription platforms including IPTV, high-definition set-top box, and streaming via broadband Internet.
