Abu Dhabi Media Company (ADMC) has revealed the plans for its new headquarters at twofour54’s Mena Zayed campus.
The offices will bring together offices and technical facilities. The broadcast centre will include 14 studios offering passers-by a sneak peak of ADMC’s shows during filming and post-production. A number of interactive walls around the outside of the buildings will also give the public the chance to interact with ADMC content.
“We are proud to join the media precinct, a great representation of Abu Dhabi’s commitment to deliver on the Emirate’s 2030 economic vision,” said HE Mohamed Khalaf Al-Mazrouei, chairman of ADMC. “ADMC is part of the fabric of the Abu Dhabi community, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our new headquarters will position us well to further develop the local media industry and continue delivering the highest-quality Arab content to our consumers in the region.”
ADMC is working with the Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates architectural firm, which has worked on ABC’s World Headquarters in New York, ABC’s Washington News Bureau in Washington D.C., and HBO Headquarters in New York.
“Our new headquarters will offer ADMC employees a creative, collaborative environment with state-of-the-art media facilities,” said Ed Borgerding, CEO, ADMC. “Features such as integrated newsrooms and flexible studio spaces will ensure we are collaborating across the company and distributing our content across our various platforms.”
