Doremi Labs, Video Disk Recorder (VDR) specialists, will launch a range of products aimed for special venues as well as showing its range of digital cinema products.

The DSV-J2 will be a first at IBC 2007. The video player offers HD, 2K and 4K replays and supports both the MPEG2 MXF and the visually lossless JPEG200 MXF file playback.

The Nugget video player will be offered with its own DAM software to allow multiple file type import (AVI, MPEG, WMV, DVCPRO, H/DV, QuickTime...) and to replay them as MPEG on Nugget. The software will also include a simple playlist generator to improve the ease of playback.

Doremi will also launch the V1-HD/LE HD video disk recorder capable of holding 80 minutes of HD video. Designed as a drop in replacement for professional HD VTRs in broadcast and post-production facilities, it is also valuable in A/V applications.

The DMS-2000 Digital Mastering Station includes real-time DCI JPEG2000 encoding and encryption and is already used by many major digital cinema mastering facilities. The DCP-2000 is the worlds most installed digital cinema server and now features 3D playback and enhanced security including Philips' CineFence watermarking.

Doremi also provide library management and image conversion software to the digital cinema industry.
