Film equipment manufacturer, Panther will use IBC 2007 to show off several improvements to its range, as well as debuting its latest TRIXY head.

The new remote head will have full mobility on all three axes without the worry of cable tangling. All power, signal and control wires are bundled into one cable leaving the user to concentrate on filming instead of tangles. The slip rings are then left to provide full movement in all directions.

The TRIXY 3-axis remote head weighs 6.5 kg and can take a camera load of 15kg. External motors can control the zoom, iris and focus of any lens brand leaving users free to make their own choices.

Panther will also show the following upgrades to existing lines:

New horizontal and vertical brakes for the PIXY crane to prevent unwanted movement and an additional brake for the Roller Plate to prevent the dolly from moving during transport. The tripod range will now include an alloy spreader SD 100/150 suitable for tripods on tracks or rollers, and a new symmetrical off-ground spreader for 100mm tripods is now available in the series. The tripod range is now available on second day delivery after receipt of order.
