Grass Valley (GV) will now act as a Front Porch Digital re-seller in the Americas after the two companies formalised their relationship.
Under the terms of the deal GV will sell Front Porch’s DIVArchive content storage management (CSM) products in the Americas. Both parties have already worked together on installations at the MLB network and local ABC and CBS stations.
“With this partnership, Grass Valley can offer customers not only its own products for news and production, but also system design and integration with the benefits of Front Porch Digital's CSM solution,” said Dave Polyard, senior VP strategic sales, Front Porch Digital. “At the same time, Grass Valley users who have not yet implemented a CSM system can now do so with total confidence in the two technologies’ combined effectiveness.”
The agreement will also give Front Porch Digital access to Grass Valley’s extensive sales and systems integration networks in the Americas.
