Headphone and microphone specialist, beyerdynamic will show off three new products at IBC 2007.
Amongst them is the latest addition to the TourGroup series of microphones, the TG-X 930.
In response to the typically short pick-up distance of vocal microphones the proximity effect of the cardioid capsule has been compensated to create a more neutral transmission.
As with the it's predecessor, the TG-X 930 has both an inner and outer basket. The outer is made up of a multilayer gauze to provide protection from pop-sounds as well as significantly improving rear attenuation and so, feedback suppression.
Due to low internal noise, the TG-X 930 has a large dynamic range and also has a maximum sound level pressure of 150 Db SPL.
The internal structure of the transducer system means that the mic is largely insensitive to the common moisture problems of vocal mics.
The turned brass housing comes in either matte black or a nickel plated finish and will be available from November 2007.
