Panasonic Corporation has launched the 'world's first 3D camcorder'. The SDT750, which boasts of a wide range of sophisticated features, will hit the Saudi market this month targeting amateur home videographers and tech-savvy enthusiasts.

The new model allows anyone to create powerful 3D images by attaching a 3D conversion lens that comes with the camcorder, a senior official told TradeArabia News Service.

"Even without the 3D conversion lens, this innovative camcorder offers many ways to take home video recording to a new level with a wide range of sophisticated features," said Majd Majbour, executive managing director’s assistant, Alesayi Electronics.

Speaking at the launch event, he said, "3D is the buzz word and is quickly becoming the most sought-after AV technology today.

"We have already launched 3D Viera TV, a 3D Blu-ray player and 3D HDMI cables, and now with this 3D camcorder Panasonic is committed to making groundbreaking 3D technology widely available to its customers in Saudi Arabia," he added.
