Vision signs Dubai World Cup deal

Visions to supply OB infrastructure to world's richest horse racing event.

OB specialist Visions has again been confirmed as the official broadcast infrastructure provider for the Dubai World Cup to be staged later this month.

Visions will provide 20 tonnes of equipment for the event, including an extensive array of flypack solutions.

This year marks the tenth consecutive year the company has supplied equipment to the event. The company will supply coverage to broadcasters including Channel 4, Sky, (in both the UK and Australia) the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

The Dubai World Cup marks one of Visions' biggest projects since the Asian Games in Doha. At that event Visions managed a crew of 80 over six weeks who covered 13 different production areas including five in HD. Involving more than 100 tonnes of equipment and 90 camera channels, it remains the biggest single flypack event that Visions has produced.
