MG TV, which will have games for both families and action-oriented gamers will produce games that cater to the region's cultural needs. The gaming platform will be fully automated, and enable viewers to interact directly or participate in a TV programme through SMS and IVR (Interactive Voting and Response) services.

"Participants can use their mobile phones to engage with interactive TV contents for the challenge and win attractive and valuable prizes," commented Fadi El-Jabbour, managing director of IMC Ltd. "Many players/viewers can easily participate at the same time in the challenge as there is no need for them to invest in new technology or devices; mobile phones are commonly available in our region.
