Speaking exclusively to Digital Studio ahead of Harris Broadcast's debut at CABSAT as a standalone company, following its takeover by The Gores Group and seperation from its previous alma mater The Harris Corporation, Said Bacho, Harris Broadcast's MESA VP, has spoken of his optimism about the company's future and a new 'leaner' structure.

Bacho said: "Gores Group has a history of taking mergers and acquisitions to a higher level of operational excellence. We expect to be an indendent company, but also more flexible, leaner and more agile from a structural and operational perspective. We expect to be faster responding to our customers requirements and more flexible from a product line up perspective. Our positioning in the market should, we expect, be enhanced by the changes."
