Qvest Media has announced the signature of a distribution agreement for Middle East with Signiant, the market leader in intelligent file movement software for media. In a region where bandwidth can be extremely costly, Signiant’s accelerated solutions can help organizations move large files securely and without the need to increase bandwidth, a critical factor in improving workflow efficiencies.

“The Middle East is a burgeoning market for content creation, so there is strong demand for solutions such as those from Signiant,” said Thomas Müller, General Manager at Qvest Media. “We are committed to providing our customers with the industry’s top solutions, and then going beyond that task by helping them to implement file-based workflows that expand their business opportunities. Signiant’s solutions complement our world-class product offerings, and we are pleased to have secured the company as a partner.”

Qvest Media will offer the full line of Signiant’s media file transfer solutions, including the new Media Shuttle file transfer solution that provides an effective alternative to FTP or consumer-oriented file sharing approaches – without the administrative burden, file size constraints or security risks. Media Shuttle’s hybrid SaaS architecture lets users access fast file transfer capabilities through a simple interface delivered from the cloud, while maintaining the file cache within the secure control of their own network.
