Antik, a Slovakian manufacturer of IPTV devices has unveiled a new hybrid set-top box, the Juice Mini II based on a Liege chipset, STiH207, by STMicrosystems which features higher performance and low power consumption features compared to previous models.
The new hybrid STB has a dual DVB tuner + IP and an enhanced CPU with performance through an L2 cache and faster DDR3 RAM. The device supports enhanced video decoding performance including H264 HD as well as DivX and MP4pt2 to 1080p30 and 3DTV decoding.
“STiH207 uses the lastest process technology that allows to change our hybrid set-top box Juice Mini to a cost-effecitve solution with high performance and low power consumption for content providers and consumers. Thanks to this device we offer to our customers multimedia rich services and viewing experience including 3DTV features,” explains Igor Koll, CEO Antik.
