Wohler will be demonstrating its whole portfolio of products at BroadcastAsia this year.
First off is its RadiantGrid media transformation platform which offers an efficient solution for transcoding, standards conversion, and audio processing in applications including loudness correction, quality control, and distribution of media.
The platform used is RadiantGrid's TrueGrid parallel-processing engine, which provides faster-than-real-time content transformation, particularly for long-form content requiring multiple processes to be run concurrently. It can manage multiplatform transcoding and standards conversion to more complex processing such as mixed-cadence correction, video optimisation, and audio loudness conformance.
Also at the booth will be the Asia-Pacific debut of iON, Wohler's next-generation monitoring solution. iON makes Wohler's technologies for signal management and confidence monitoring available on a single software platform that users can access and control remotely from Web-enabled PC, Mac, smartphone, and tablet devices, with video and audio content streamed in real time. iON is unique in enabling practical, flexible, and highly efficient monitoring of both baseband and file-based signals.
Wohler’s audio monitor the AMP1-MADIe is an in-rack portable MADI unit with Ethernet control and configuration. It is ideal for sports production and other live broadcasts, and can be connected in series with a 56- or 64-channel MADI stream for individual volume adjustment and audible monitoring of any eight selected MADI channels at once.
Other equipment at the show includes Wohler’s DVM MPEG DVB-ASI and IPTV monitors as well as a range of HDM series full-HD, wide viewing angle monitors and multi display solutions.
