Audio and video production company Sound Devices have announced they’ve recently supplied their latest audio offering -the 664 Field Production Mixer - to the noted recordist David Thirion, a Dubai based sound specialist with credits in a range of documentaries, corporate videos and ENG network programs.

The company’s flagship device in a line of portable audio mixers, the 664 has built on the foundations laid down by the popular 552 mixer – boasting six input channels and four output buses.

“The 6 high-bandwidth, low noise microphone preamplifiers with phantom, limiters, high-pass, pan, and direct outputs per channel making it an all-in-one choice for today’s on-location recordists,” commented Shajahan KK, Sound Devices Product Specialist at NMK, “When used along with the CL-6, the 664 extends its recording capability to a total of 16 tracks.”
