Microsoft's premiere event for IT professionals and enterprise developers, TechEd took place this week - with event staff and crew supplied by Showforce.
Working directly with Nteractive Consulting and Events Ltd, Showforce supported numerous contractors at the event, including; PRG Germany, Neumann and Muller, Fulcrum, F1 and Frames in various aspects of the event build.
They also were on hand to assist with rigging, hanging drapes, installing lighting, video and PA equipment across 6 exhibition halls and the North Convention Centre.
Whilst the majority of the crew were from the local area, Charlie Kyle, one of Showforce’s most experienced senior crew chiefs, flew over from the UK to oversee the project. The team clocked up a total of 2540 man hours, over a thirteen day period.
“The importance of quality in local crew is often overlooked," supported Matt Brownfield, Nteractive’s technical director.
"An event the size and scale of Microsoft TechEd relies on the ability of the install schedule to run to time over the week it takes us to install. Showforce’s delivery on site was, as ever, spot-on."
