The Gallery of Light at Dubai Community Theatre & Art Centre (DUCTAC)  will host an independent art exhibition called 'Hunger' between 30th Oct and 1st Nov 2013, exploring the raw and primitive sensations that surround Hallowe’en.

The exhibition is curated by The Gallery of Light’s in-house curator Simon Coates and locally based artist and curator Ram Nath. The pair met earlier in the year when Nath asked The Gallery of Light to host the successful Big Picture exhibition.

During the three day exhibition the gallery will  offer visitors a candle-lit yoga session and workshops, as well as screening classic thriller and horror films.

"With this exhibition we aim to pose questions concerning existence, morality and being" says Ram Nath. "The exhibition will investigate portrayals of fear and psychotic behaviour - whether encouraging viewers to explore their ‘inner psycho’ or exposing the normality of psychotic behaviour."
