SGM's work on its G-Spot light pays dividends

New light wins top accolade at PLASA Awards for Innovation.

Scooping up the top accolade at the industry exalted PLASA Awards for Innovation, SGM’s G-spot now arguably boasts a status as the most revolutionary intelligent LED moving head on the market.

Harnessing a virtually unlimited colour pallete and offering double the light output of its prototype unveiled a few months ago – the G-Spot purports to deliver a brightness that outperforms most 1500 watt discharge lamps.

What really sets the G-Spot apart however is its IP65 rating, making it water, dirt and sand (and practically bullet) proof. Thereby ensuring maintenance is kept to a minimum without the irritating accumulation of things like dust threatening to ruin its polished optics.

“In such a competitive marketplace it’s gratifying that the judges have recognised that G-Spot stands out as being completely unique,” stated SGM CEO, Peter Johansen.

“We already have huge advanced orders on this fixture, and once we start shipping we know this will find applications in arduous environments and climates where it has never previously been possible
