PLASA aftermath a positive one

This month’s PLASA 2013 proved to be yet another great success with over 11,000 visitors descending on the exhibitions new home in the ExCel Arena in London.

International interest was also reportedly high, with over 2,200 visitors from 84 countries flocking to the UK capital to check out the latest movements in the pro audio, lighting and live entertainment scene.

“The response we’ve received to PLASA London 2013 has been overwhelmingly positive, both from visitors and exhibitors, said Chris Toulmin, Head of Events, PLASA London 2013. “They have embraced the new venue and also enjoyed the new features such as the AudioLab Arena, Theatre and Interactive.”

Industry powerhouses such as Sony, Robe and Martin Audio have been quick in expressing their praise over the event, with many more companies unanimous in their commendation of the exhibitions new change in location.

“It’s been a really good show – better than the Earls Court days,” enthused Kim Brant, Director at SES Entertainment Services. “ ExCeL is a proper exhibition hall with nice views and great facilities. Our bigger, more open stand has really helped encourage people to visit us and spend more time with us”.
