Dubai's JLT to introduce three new venues

New gastropub and fancy eateries coming to the Movenpick Hotel.
News, International News

JLT might be known as a popular place to live, but it’s yet to develop much of a reputation as a nightlife hub, with just a handful of licensed venues.

Thankfully that could be set to change, with news of three new venues opening that could hopefully signal the emergence of a new after-hours destination.

Expected to open on Tuesday October 29, the new Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Towers will bring with it the Urban Bar & Kitchen – or UBK for short.

Offering a relaxed gastropub feel, the 800-capacity venue will serve up live DJs, sports and weekend breakfasts, and is expected to offer some fresh competition to the area’s better known outlets.

Also opening at the hotel will be Nosh - one of our favorite restaurant titles this year - set to serve up a host of  international flavours from the Americas to the Far East, and offering a new Friday brunch option.
