Chillout Productions has finally announced the headliner for the closing night of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festiva 2014, with the honours going to the popular Latin-infused rockers, Santana.

Both named after and fronted by Mexican guitar virtuoso Carlos Santana, the band’s musical efforts have spanned the decades since the late sixties, churning out seminal, number billboard singles such as ‘Maria Maria’, ‘The Game of Love’ and‘Smooth’.

“By adding Santana to the list, we will have the biggest line up in the Middle East’s festival history with a mix of music genres that makes the Dubai International Jazz Festival an event for each and every one - satisfying all age groups and music preferences,” said Anthony Younes, CEO of Chillout Productions.

“This 12th edition is a step forward in taking the festival to the highest level following the worldwide Jazz festivals in terms of numbers of events and acts.”

Other headline performers confirmed for the event are:

February 13, 2014: Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington, plus another act to be announced soon.

February 14, 2014: Olly Murs & The Wanted

February 20, 2014: Jamie Cullum & Colbie Caillat
