NAD Electronics recently introduced Spotify Connect to its premium Masters M50 Digital Music Player. The new partnership means that NAD M50 owners can now enjoy an enhanced multi-room wireless audio experience, plus instant access to Spotify Connect's 20+ million songs with hassle-free control.

The M50 already offers a variety of ways to play music, including high resolution files up to 192kHz/24-bit. While the focus of the M50 is on high-res audio listening, the new addition of Spotify Connect is intended to offer listeners the ability to play millions of songs on the M50 using any iOS or Android device.

Greg Stidsen, NAD's director of technology and product planning, says: "This partnership with Spotify Connect is the perfect enhancement to the M50's advanced digital and multi-room streaming technologies. Our customers will get the best of both worlds: true and reliable high-performance audio along with Spotify's premium music service and its ever-expanding catalogue of songs. It's a true music lover's dream."

The service will be available as of today (July 1, 2014). Owners of a NAD M50 that are also Spotify Premium subscribers simply need to upgrade their music player to software version 1.10.0 and download the updated iOS App v1.10.0 or Android App v1.10.0.
