Dubai-based rental and production company Spectrum Entertainment Services has acquired a Eurotruss megatruss system supplied by Procom ME, making it one of few rental companies in the UAE to own the equipment.

The system is made of over 250 meters of TT rectangular (section 1010mm x 580mm) trusses of 1 to 4 metres in length and a TD50 tower system (section 510mm x 510mm). The linear trusses are designed for spans up to 40 meters and the tower system can handle heights up to 20 meters with 8 tonnes load-bearing each.

Julien Beyrouthy, CEO of Spectrum, said: “Adding the Eurocode compliant megatruss system to our inventory allows us to set up large and sophisticated stages that require high mechanical standards, completely with our in-house equipment, an advantage in the increasingly demanding UAE staging scene.”

The system was supplied by Dubai’s Procom ME for sound, light and video, which recently also deployed the mega-truss system in White Dubai rooftop venue, the largest outdoor club in the Middle East.

Raja Harfouche, CEO of Procom, said: “Spectrum’s purchase is yet another outcome of the partnership between Procom and Eurotruss, which brings Eurotruss to the GCC at affordable prices, with reliable supply and technical support, including static reports whenever needed.”
