Ahead of the new season, Eclipse Staging Services has invested in 36 Vari-Lite VL3500 Wash FX luminaires; renowned for being the most versatile wash luminaire on the market. The acquisition makes Eclipse the only supplier in the region.
The VL3500 Wash FX, a super bright luminaire, has an output that exceeds 70,000 lumens. With both its interchangeable external front lenses and internal spreaders, the light also boasts an open FX pattern wheel including four indexed and rotatable gobo positions. The fixture introduces VARI*BRITE, advanced patented technology from Philips Vari-Lite, which allows for a hybrid movement from an extremely wide field angle to a tight beam column.
Eclipse general manager, Martin Lubach comments: “The decision to purchase the Vari-Lites was an easy one and we are thrilled to be in a position to be able to react quickly when we receive requests for specific technology; this allows us to provide the very highest level of customer service to our clients, which is at the heart of the eclipse group mission.”
The powerful lights are able to provide countless creative effects and are regularly utilised on events in some of the biggest stadiums around the globe for acts including One Direction and Queen.
With this in mind, it is no surprise that the luminaires are already lined up to debut on the Lady Gaga artRAVE concert in Dubai next week.
Eclipse will be overseeing all lighting, video, rigging and primary and secondary power distribution requirements for the Lady Gaga event when it lands in Dubai on Wednesday 10th September at Meydan Racecourse. The show will be a unique and bespoke event, having been produced specifically with the UAE audience in mind, and Lady Gaga is said to be looking forward to giving fans the show of a lifetime.
