Prolites Sound, Light & Video recently teamed up with installation company Events Technology to supply the Middle East Broadcasting Centre (MBC) with lighting equipment for their studio in Lebanon.

Prolites supplied the studio with over 150 Cyclops Lighting fixtures, including the powerful, fast-moving platinum lamp CL330-BW and CL800S-E moving heads, the RGBWA LED CPX91-MZ moving head wash with rapid zoom system, the CPX314-II compact LED fixture with over-sized custom lenses as well as the power-saving platinum lamp moving head CL160B-ER.

Amir Touma, general manager of Events Technology - the installer of the MBC studio - said: “Cyclops Lighting offered us high performance and extreme reliability at a great value. We are very happy with our choice, the fixtures have been running smoothly."

Raja Harfouche, general manager of Prolites, added: “We wanted to meet the impressive lighting quality and studio standards found in the original sets of the international shows adapted by MBC. Knowing that it’s a multi-functional studio, we also wanted to provide equipment that offers a wide lighting variety along with reliability and sturdiness."

The studio can be seen in action for The Voice: ‘Ahla Sawt,’ Arab Idol, X Factor and Arabs Got Talent.
