Sharp Middle East and Africa has expanded its range of displays with two new, large size Ultra-HD Professional display monitors.

Under its theme of ‘Bigger Impact, Sharper Impression’, Sharp has launched a 55-inch professional LCD monitor and a 70-inch, Ultra-HD monitor, both 4K compatible.

The 55-inch professional LCD monitor (PN-V551) features a 3.5 mm ultra-thin bezel, is suitable for video wall application, and can render 4K content in a certain configuration. The width of the bezel between neighbouring monitors in a multi-screen display is just 3.5mm, making a near seamless, high-impact video wall.

In addition, the monitor is equipped with Sharp’s UCCT (Uniform Colour Calibration Technology) which identifies uniformity of colour and brightness across a video wall that then creates a dynamic image quality.

The 70-inch 4K Ultra-HD monitor (PN-H701), boasts a super-high resolution image quality. The slim bezel contributes its stylish design in either portrait or landscape orientation setting, while the built-in USB media player allows playback of photos, videos and music stored on a connected USB memory device.

Ravinder Kumar, general manager, Business Solutions at Sharp Middle East and Africa, commented: “These display screens are suitable for upscale retail stores, restaurants and information displays in stations and public spaces that are testament to showcasing 4K in a manner like never before.”
