GP Acoustics has brought its KEF brand’s custom install products to the Middle East by opening a new office in Dubai. The new office in the Dubai World Central Business Park has been established to develop and manage the British brand’s business in the region as well as to service its growing customer base.
GP Acoustics Middle East general manager, Rajeev Abraham, said: "With a company office in the region, KEF is uniquely positioned to provide top level support at the design phase, during implementation, and after installation support."
He continued: "One of KEF’s unique features is our patented Uni-Q driver technology, where the the woofer, mid-range and tweeter are merged into the same acoustic centre. This point source arrangement delivers wide off-axis sound with no change in tonal balance – when incorporated into in-ceiling speakers used in the project business, KEF speakers are able to fill a wider area with more consistent sound quality. This technology also eliminates frequency crossover distortions.’
Having established the office, the manufacturer is now looking at the projects it will target. Abraham explained: "Our focus will primarily be on premium residential, hotel public spaces, luxury suites, universities, luxury yachts and restaurants that desire premium high resolution sound quality to help them differentiate from other solutions that are currently available in the market. More specifically, our solutions are ideal for audiophile quality background music in hotel lobbies, corridors, spa, pool and landscaping; board rooms, conference rooms and meeting rooms where motorised speakers can be used to play back a video/audio presentation; or in school classrooms, auditoriums and public spaces."
The new Dubai office will serve the whole of the Middle East region, including the GCC, Levant, Egypt and Jordan.
