Grass Valley has confirmed the expansion of its Middle East office in Dubai Media City to accommodate its growing regional team and to meet the needs of customers in the area.
The expanded office will include sales, pre-sales, technical support and service, marketing, and administrative resources and will house demonstration and training facilities for customers and channel partners.
“This move strengthens our Middle East operations and enhances our ability to serve our customers with Future-Ready broadcast solutions from a state-of-the-art facility,” said Said Bacho, vice president, EMEA, Grass Valley. “Our business in the Middle East has been growing for two years in a row, and we believe that the right level of investment in resources and facilities in the region is a key to sustaining business growth in 2015 and beyond.”
Speaking to Digital Production ME during CABSAT, Bacho said that the company was expanding its office in Shatha Tower, Dubai Media City to make it about 1.5 times bigger. “The reason for the expansion is that we have grown the team over the last year and we also wanted to merge the teams of former Miranda and former Grass Valley.
“We have a total of 15 staff in that office supporting the Middle East region. There were 10 and we added five over the course of last year, not just through the merger [with Miranda] but also the expansion. So we are still very bullish about growth in the region, we have had really good two years,” Bacho added.
