d&b audiotechnik has announced that it will launch two new products and a significant software update at Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt from 15th – 18th April 2015. According to a company statement, the announcements will "keep d&b at the forefront of the touring and installation markets."

The new products include the D20, the latest addition to the company’s four channel amplifier family, and the MAX2, a flexible 15” stage monitor. The software update is a new ArrayCalc feature for d&b line arrays.

Sabina Berloffa, director of marketing and product management at d&b audiotechnik, said: “The only way leading companies such as d&b can retain their market position is through constant innovation, meeting the demands of the market and more importantly the satisfaction of their customers.”

Berloffa continued: “Prolight + Sound is such an important show for us. This year, we’re launching some really excellent new products, which elevate the quality of d&b systems even further. The result of our constant research and development programme, these products continue to prove that any investment in a d&b system is a strategic investment for the future.”

Both the D20 amplifier and MAX2 stage monitor will be on display at stand J46 in Hall 8. Visitors will also be able to explore the d&b workflow, comprising the new ArrayCalc simulation software and the d&b R1 Remote control software.
