Broadcast software specialist Anyware Video will open an office in Japan this month as it eyes expansion in Asia.

The office will open on May 11th in Tokyo. The company’s CEO, Xavier Picat, will attend the opening accompanied by Homère Faivre, Anyware Video’s Asia business development manager, who will head up the Japan office.

“Deployments in Europe in the last few months and the success at the professional broadcast shows, particularly with the Japanese prospects that have expressed their great interest for our products, reinforce our ambition to play a major part in Asia Pacific and in the conception of tomorrow’s innovative solutions,” the company said in a statement.
