ATEME has announced that Telson, belonging to Tres60 Grupo, a European leader in media capture, management and distribution services, has deployed the Titan stream processing solution to power its OTT multi-screen service for service providers in Spain.

Telson's play-out customers include Turner, Disney Channel, NBC Universal and Viacom. Titan is a high video quality, high density software compression solution, designed for Cable, DTH, and OTT.

A true virtualised software-based solution, Titan can run on any OS: Linux, Windows and VM. It delivers the highest video quality at minimum bitrates addressing main screens and multiscreen applications, from mobile resolutions up to UHDp60.

Titan is a complete distribution solution including SDI and IP I/O’s, encoder, transcoder, multiplexer, statmux, packager and origin server. With its powerful user interface, management system and extensive set of API’s, Titan can easily integrate with any ecosystem, reducing time-to-market and OPEX.

Agapito Otero, Telson TV Channels manager, said: “OTT delivery enables our clients to propose an additional experience to their users, thus improve their customer retention, and increase both ARPU and subscriber base”.

“ATEME Titan eases the deployment of new services” added Emmanuel Boureau, VP sales at ATEME. ”In addition, ATEME pay-as-you grow licenses mechanism, enables immolate service enhancements, both in terms of new features and channels."
