Opening its doors for the first time in a new venue, Gulf Bike Week 2015 saw Matrix Audio Visual and Entertainment revving into action to bring the event to life.

The Dubai-based event production company was responsible for the staging, sound and lights at the recent edition of Gulf Bike Week, which took place from 22nd to 24th October at the Dubai Autodrome.

A must-attend event for motor enthusiasts, petrol heads and lovers of motorcycles from across the region, Gulf Bike Week offered visitors a festival-feel with plenty of motoring entertainment, live bands, food trucks and hospitality.

Gulf bike week 2015 also showcased more than 26 local and international artists, with performers on all three days. For this side of the event, Matrix AV provided a 10m x 8m x 1.2m stage by Sixtema Staging. Sound came courtesy of a JBL Line Array System (VT 4888 and 4880), Crown Amplification, XTA speaker management system, RCF stage monitors and stage side fills with keyboard and guitar amps. FOH mixing was via a Yamaha CL5 series desk, with monitor mix via a Yamaha CL3 series patched through RIO.

Stage lighting was controlled by a Grand MA2 lighting desk and consisted of Robe 1200 spots and washes, Robe Pointes, DTS Deltas, and Molefays.
