Having headlined the 2015 Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival back in February, it was announced this morning that Sting will be returning for another appearance in 2016.

On February 25th, the 64-year-old musician will hit the stage at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre with trumpeter Chris Botti - the largest selling instrumental artist in the United States right now.

Accompanied by a live band, the pair will team up for tunes such as ‘When I Fall In Love’, ‘Concierto de Aranjuez’, ‘The Very Thought of You’, plus Sting’s back catalogue of hits including ‘Desert Rose’, ‘Every Breath You Take’ and ‘Shape of My Heart’.

Anthony Younes, CEO and founder of Chillout Productions, said: "This outstanding show marks a first time appearance of an iconic Pop Jazz artist like Chris Botti and the return of Sting after his sell out gig in 2015, to perform together in a rare live performance. It’s definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity to watch a stellar show by these two Grammy Award-winning artists.”

The duo are also lined up to perform in Manila in the Philippines on March 3rd.

Tickets go on sale at 12pm on November 25th here. Regular standing costs Dhs395, Golden Circle Dhs795, Fan Pit Dhs995 and VIP Dhs1,450.
