Ross Video is set to demonstrate a range of solutions designed to help broadcasters and those working in live production simplify and improve their workflows at CABSAT 2016.
Under the heading ‘Smarter Production’, Ross Video will discuss how its ecosystem of products can improve creativity, simplify operations and enable content creators to produce more live content, more cost-effectively.
“Our theme for the show reflects the need for smarter production,” said David Dowling, VP of Sales for EMEA and APAC. “The industry has been focusing on emerging technology platforms for the last 12-18 months now and while this debate is valuable, it doesn’t always reflect the day-to-day concerns of many content creators. We have compelling stories that highlight how we can help customers to create more engaging content, more cost-effectively, right now.”
Stuart Russell, Ross Video’s marketing manager for EMEA, agrees: “The climate in the Middle East has changed slightly over the last 12 months and broadcasters are paying increasing attention to workflow efficiency and integration. Capex and Opex budgets are perhaps not as generous as they once were in the region and Ross has an excellent track record of helping content creators do more for less, so I’m confident we will have a busy show.”
As well as Ross Video’s range of graphics solutions, production switchers and robotics systems, the company will also demonstrate the Ross Trackless Studio – a debut for the MENA markets.
Based on the XPression real-time motion graphics system, Ross Trackless Studio a single-box solution that is ideal for smaller or more budget-conscious virtual applications. Unlike other systems that use robotics, encoded camera heads and optical tracking, Ross Trackless Studio uses stationary cameras, with virtual camera moves happening inside the scene; an ideal way of creating eye-catching content while keeping costs and studio real estate to a minimum.
