NorthTelecom, a provider of ICT satellite services across the MENA region, recently announced plans to expand its operations in Asia.
The company, which is headquartered in Dubai, plans to expand into the Asian market and will open an office in Singapore in May.
“We are investing in new facility and capacity in Singapore to serve APAC region, these investment will allow NorthTelecom to extend its leading edge and forefront solution and services into Asia and Pacific market in the coming month,” said Mahdi Nazari Mehrabi, managing director Asia and CTO NorthTelecom.
“The new facility will be equipped with state of the art ground equipment as well as our high qualified and competence team on the ground. We are delighted to extend our cost effective and reliable services and solution to our partner in this part of the world,” Mehrabi added.
“This expansion brings NorthTelecom facility and reach to APAC and company will now be able to bridge east to west and offer more cutting edge service and solution to global market.”
The company also recently exhibited at CABSAT. Mehrabi said that the show presented an ideal opportunity to discuss trends and challenges in the market with industry peers and customers. “It was great for us having three days intensive and face-to-face meeting with the industry colleagues and the supply chain, it was very unique opportunity to talk and discuss with them about the market trends as well as possible threats which we may all face in the future,” he said.
Speaking of trends in the market, Mehrabi said: “We are witnessing a transformation from market oriented era to more customer relationship type of environment in satellite industry. This will take more collaboration and maturity all across the vertical, we do need to value the supply chain and leverage the ecosystem by all means, transformation is going on and we should be part of it.”
